What a wild weekend! Thank you to everyone for the emails and kind words for our staff.
Attached are the complete scoring result for the 2009 CrossFit Games Dirty South Regional Qualifier. To clear any confusion of the past weekend here are the facts as related to the Dirty South Qualifier scoring.
The Scoring Line, was our number one rule that every qualifying athlete must complete every WOD at RX weight and within the specified time limit, this was clear. Remaining points would then be disseminated first to participants that competed at RX requirement but exceeded the time limit, next to participants with 1 scaling options then lastly to participants with 2 scaling options. Total points would be used to award the qualifying spot, as long as that athlete was above the scoring line.
We have learned some lesson from this years event and promise to institute changes. I thank each of the competitors I have emailed and or spoken with this past week, you make up one incredible community!
The official results are listed in order with all athletes completing each WOD as RX ranked by points then the remaining athletes listed under the Scoring Line again ranked by points. RX weight within the prescribed time limit is our qualifying standard and thus the final ranking standard.
